| Harry Potter Legos welcomes you to the Diagon Alley |
Unless you’re accompanied by a wizard, it would be impossible for you, or any Muggle, to go shopping in Diagon Alley, the high street located in London but that it is hidden to the non-magical population. Now you can visit Diagon Alley without the need to pass through the Leaky Cauldron, the inn located somewhere in Charing Cross Road, in between a bookshop and a music shop. Harry Potter Legos new building set allows you to recreate this economic “hub” where you can shop for magical stuff. Including 3 extensively detailed buildings, Diagon Alley is the newest proposal from Harry Potter Legos for endless hours of fun and magic, and probably the most detailed building in the all collection. According to this review written by Rylar, UK, “Diagon Alley is the biggest and maybe the best Lego Harry Potter set yet. A bit challenging to build but is fun. (…) I would give the lego set Diagon Alley 4 and a half stars.” From the manufacturer’s page: “Each Lego Harry Potter Diagon Alley building is realistically detailed. Ollivander's offers an extensive selection of wands, storage shelves and a step ladder that allows Ollivander to gather wands from the top floor. The front desk has an "exploding" function for those inconvenient times when a spell goes awry. Borgin and Burke's includes a scary skeleton, glow-in-the-dark elements, a fireplace attached to the Floo Network and a Vanishing Cabinet that Dark wizards might use to sneak in. Gringott's Bank is an impressive two-story building with double doors, and can be opened completely into a large building or closed to create a smaller building. The bank's interior features a removable vault, along with the Philosopher's Stone, a clerk's desk, a chandelier and 'wonky' support pillars.” Diagon Alley by LEGO is a great building toy, maybe the master piece of the Harry Potter collection. And you can buy other building sets that recreate other places and events from Harry Potter saga. Find them all at Harry Potter Legos site, and pay special attention to Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle. Harry Potter Legos – Diagon Alley building set includes
From the Reviews: The best Lego Harry Potter set to date! A.S. “My 8yo son and I had a great time with this set. We have a huge Lego collection (Star Wars, City, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones etc etc) and this set is right up there with the best of them. Firstly the build is excellent. My 8yo son was able to complete most of it by himself. It was not repetitive at all. The three separate buildings and modular instructions with numbered bags makes construction easy and fun. Secondly the numerous and detailed minifigs are awesome. While Harry stills looks a bit plain all of the other figs are updated and look fantastic. Thirdly the accessories and different colored bricks you get with a Harry Potter set are very welcome. I've been getting bored with grey, black and tan we seem to always get with Star Wars so it was really enjoyable to see the different colors and fun accessories with this set. The owls, cauldrons, hats, glow in the dark pieces are all great. Lastly this set is truly a bargain. Even at fill retail with over 2000 pieces and large number of minifigs it is bargain. This set is easily the best Harry Potter set ever made and will likely be up sought after long after it is out of production as one of the best sets Lego ever produced. Get it while you can, 5 stars, well done Lego!” |
